Still More catch up from 2010 here: Well it was a chilly FALL day when we shot this, but certainly warmer than this Blizzard here in Chicago. This was a shoot with Chuck Shotwell, ALWAYS good times prevail on his jobs - For a Sports company Zon, complete with star athelete Brendan Brazier (not shown). I'm in the back row spraying the basketball player.

The only thing that kept us warm was the hilarious comedy from these two brilliant actors and their writers! Hans and Sandy were non stop LOL in this great SC Communications shoot for 3M. Really great. Nothing like a client letting you be as creative as possible :) Bring it!~

Greetings! I've been doing a series of promotional videos for Harper College in Palatine. Here's a photo of cast and crew in their Observatory, one of the locations we shot at.

Home to a Newtonian Telescope that was built in 1885, my job and the places it brings me never ceases to intrigue!

Emmy Nomination!!!

A project I worked on a few years back, 'Legend Seekers' with the fabulous Frank Haney just got nominated for an Emmy!! Here's a photo from the shoot. The re-enacting from the past was super fun....Indian War Paint!

More Second City Insanity!!! This video was for 3M. They make a tooth product so the script was about a kid trying to pull one over on the Tooth Fairy..

Full Camo makeup for the Tooth Fairy trying to catch the criminal!....and many fun locations....jail cell included. Never a dull moment with the Second City crew.

On a shoot for TV Land we were out in Iowa at the 'Field of Dreams' movie site. It was VERY cold but the wonderful host kept it together and even hit a few balls for the camera. Good times had by all!

Holiday Card

As some of you may know, I have been sending out a Holiday Card every year for over ten years now of myself in some unique Holiday setting, and usually some wacky make up!

This year, Aaron Corey had the honors of shooting it.

After burning my wardrobe and smelling like a campfire we had fun shooting in his lobby with all our Holiday props in place.

Thanks Aaron for another successful Holiday image!

Halloween GORE!!!

For Halloween every year, Alter Studio throws a fabulous party.
I was lucky enough to get hired by them to make their guests Gore-RIFIC!

The theme was Sweeney Todd. They had an actor dressed as Sweeney (whose make up I did also) escort their guests into the barber shop, where I put gashes and blood oozing out of them! Dressed as Mrs. Lovett (costume supplied by Alter), I simply had a blast!!!!

Celebrity Citing....

Greetings and welcome to Sandy FaceArtist's Blog! This will keep you up to date with Sandy Morris' work as a make up and hair pro in Chicago. Back in August of this year when I planned on starting this blog I had a fun job over at Rubinic photo shooting Mike Rowe of 'Dirty Jobs' for Grainger.

After shooting some shots in the studio, we went over to Finkl Factory and we all got pretty dirty! Mike was really great to work with and I certainly enjoyed putting dirt on him! Will post the final shots when they are released.
